Perform multi-point inspection and diagnose malfunction(s)Efficiently repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc.
, in accordance with dealership standardsExplain mechanical diagnoses/required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customersProvide an estimate of the time needed for repairsTest-drive vehicles before and after repairsTest components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentLearn new technical information and techniques in training sessionsAdhere to company regulations and keep abreast of recalls and updatesReport any damaged or defective equipment to managementReport safety issues to management and ensure a clean working areaQualifications/Requirements - Service Technician:
Previous Service Technician/Mechanic experience is requiredAbility to multi-task in a high-volume settingMechanical/troubleshooting skills and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competencyGood work ethic and problem-solving skillsMust work well as part of a teamHigh level of motivation and ability to learn new repair/service proceduresValid driver's license and good driving recordHigh school diploma or GEDPlease upload your resume and complete the online assessmentMust be authorized to work in the U.
