A human resources (HR) Generalist oversees policies, procedures, and compliance relating to employees for their organization.
They ensure all human resources activities follow local, state, and federal laws, as well as implement and oversee programs related to employee benefits and initiatives.
Insurance programs, flexible work arrangement programs, maternity leave, open enrollment programs, and vacation and sick leave benefits are overseen by the human resources generalist, as well.
This position would make recommendations on potential policy changes to ensure the company offers a competitive package of salary and benefits to employees; they also help implement any approved changes.
They also ensure that their workplace is accommodating and free of harassment, handling any complaints in accordance with company policy and any relevant laws.
Responsibilities:
Administering compensation and benefit plans.
Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures.
Maintaining and revising the company's handbook on policies and procedures.
Performing benefits administration including insurance and 401K.
Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including placing job ads.
Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling.
Overseeing exit interviews.
Maintaining HR records and reports.
Participating in administrative staff meetings.
Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts.
Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures.
Training supervisors and managers on human resources related topics.
Measure employee morale and determine methods for improving overall employee satisfaction.
Consulting with supervisors/managers about staffing needs developing and implementing pre-employment testing.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
3
years of experience in Human Resources.
Proven experience in human resources is required.
Should also have excellent leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interviewing skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
